Thursday March 7, 2019 Seattle YFT Celebrated the Chinese Lunar New Year with a delicious dinner at the Joy Palace Seafood Restaurant in Seattle.

Everyone had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Congratulations to all the young Yee Scholarship recipients for the 65th Annual Seattle Yee Fung Toy Picnic and Scholarship awards.

The day was sunny and warm, and we had over 125 members and guest attending our picnic. YFT Advisors Jim Yee and Esther Yue came down from Vancouver BC to join in our annual picnic.

This year we were able to give out $2250 in scholarships to well deserving Yee scholars. As always the raffle with it’s fun prizes and cash is always a crowd pleaser. On the menu was soy sauce chow mien, Ching Ping Gai (steamed Chicken with ginger and green onion sauce, honey roasted bbq pork and out treasurer Yao Dong generously donated two large pans of the crispy Fried Chicken.,

Grand Advisor James Yee, chapter Advisor Suey Yee, President Kevin Lee, Vice President Shek Jing Yee, members Git Fung Yee, Yao Ching Yee donated cash for our raffle. Thanks for all the members assistance in making out 65th Annual Seattle YFT picnic so successful.

 
 
 

After the picnic, the Seattle Yee’s hosted our guests Jim Yee and Esther Yue of Vancouver, BC Canada to an awesome Beijing Roasted Duck Dinner at Imperial Garden Seafood Restaurant.
